The Origin

Our Journey Begins

Trails and Tales was born from our insatiable need to authentically share the Ireland we know and love. Not the Ireland of postcards and tour buses, but the real, breathing land.

"Every path has a story, and every story had a bit of magic in it. We didn't want the day to end."

Questions? We've got answers.

Q:How many people are on each tour?

The group is small, usually between 8 and 12 people, so it feels more like a road trip than a tour bus.

Q:Where do the tours leave from?

We pick up in Kilkenny or Waterford, depending on the tour. Exact times and spots will be confirmed when you book.

Q:What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes, a jacket (this is Ireland after all), and maybe a bit of curiosity. We'll handle the rest.

Q:Are the tours suitable for all fitness levels?

Absolutely. Our tours are relaxed, with gentle walking and plenty of time to take things at your own pace.
